iYO (pronounced ‘Eye-Yo’) is a robot designed by scientists to respond intuitively to problems of any kind. However, iYO’s abilities and huge databank of knowledge must be combined with real-world experience and judgment, which cannot be programmed. He needs to live like a normal child and learn about reacting to situations, social interactions, and even emotions for him to realise his full, amazing potential. Lucky for iYO, he lives with a loving family and the siblings, Tom and Mei, are his best friends. They play, look after each other and learn about the world together.
